Chamomile
The main component of chamomile are the so-called blue azulenes, which have an excellent anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and pain-relieving effect. Chamomile has a disinfectant effect, is a drowning agent, has a calming effect, reduces pain and cramps, promotes bile production. Externally it is used for poultices on burns, wounds and hemorrhoids. For colds, inflammations of the oral cavity, gynaecological problems. Chamomile is versatile with no side effects and is therefore our most popular medicinal herb. Chamomile is a "panacea", especially for young children. It helps sweating, relieves cramps, is anti-inflammatory, has a good effect on the general nervous system, and eases stools.

Plantain
Plantain is known for its positive effects on human health from history. Even our grandmothers used to collect it and prepare various syrups or tinctures from it. This amazing medicinal herb, which you often see on your walks, has several positive effects on human health. This is mainly because of its high content of nutrients and substances that benefit our bodies. The most essential nutrients include tannin, silicic acid, enzymes and vitamin C. Due to its high content of various beneficial substances, plantain is a great helper against inflammation. It heals, cools and soothes all inflamed wounds, but also helps when taken internally. It is also beneficial for the nervous system or, for example, in the treatment of inflammation of the urinary tract. Similarly, the tea can also help with irritating coughs or respiratory problems.

St. John's Wort
The Greeks loved it and gave it the name - oros ganos - joy of the mountains. In Egypt it was known as a disinfectant and preservative. It is a versatile herb. It has a strong antispasmodic action, deepens the strength of the heart contraction, acts on abdominal pains in an upset stomach and promotes digestion, for intestinal disorders, for irritating dry coughs, as well as severe constipation. It is also used as an antidepressant, improves mood and enhances sleep.

Blackberry
In medicine, it was known to the Egyptians as well as the Greeks and Romans. Blackberry (leaves, fruits) contain a lot of tannins, as well as flavonoids, organic acids, vitamin C, A, dyes, sugars and pectin. The minerals include magnesium, calcium, iron, copper and potassium. All of these substances together form a complex that has a beneficial effect on the body. Consumption is more than suitable for the treatment of colds and infectious diseases, tonsillitis, flu, cough, sinusitis, problems with intestinal peristalsis, digestion, etc., as well as for convalescence after illness. At the same time, because of its high bioflavonoid content, it is used for vascular problems such as varicose veins, weak vascular walls, high blood pressure, hemorrhoids, or erection problems in men.

Motherwort
Of the active ingredients, motherwort contains thymol, cymol, essential oils, ursolic acid, yellow essential oil, carbanil, and gentian. In total, it contains up to 0.6% of essential oil, which contains substances with a strong disinfectant effect, and a number of other terpenes and sesquiterpenes, serpyllin mustard, as well as tannins, flavonoids and others. For medicinal purposes, the inflorescence is collected. The thymol contained in St. John's wort has very strong antiseptic effects, is non-toxic and externally vascularises the skin. Motherwort is used in folk medicine for coughs, bronchitis, digestive disorders, anemia, bladder disorders, painful menstruation and abdominal cramps. It is also said to have calming effects. Externally, it is used for poultices for inflammatory skin diseases, as a gargle with a deodorising and disinfecting effect, for inflammations of the oral cavity, for strengthening baths and for rheumatism.

Mallow
An important honey-bearing plant, it is beautiful to look at and has been dried since ancient times for its health benefits. The flower, leaf and possibly the stem are harvested for their high tannin content. It is anti-inflammatory and so is used, for example, as a remedy for coughs and inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, relieving hoarseness and irritating coughs. But it is also worth using externally on skin injuries, when it relieves itching or inflammation, or for eye washes. It is also an excellent remedy for indigestion, various inflammations of the organs, oral cavity and bladder. The flowers are also excellent for garnishing various dishes.

Lemon balm
People love it for its calming effects, but this herb does so much more. It is considered the elixir of life. Ancient and medieval physicians recommended lemon balm to all those who suffered from melancholy and also to those who wanted to live long and be vital. Lemon balm is a remedy for a whole host of mild health complications. It helps, for example, to calm the body, for the sensation of rapid heartbeat, for problematic digestion and digestion, for stomach problems and nausea, for flatulence, headaches, migraines or cold sores.

Fennel

Preparation instructions:
Pour boiling water over the mixture at a ratio of 10 g (approx. 6 aligned teaspoons) per 1 litre of water. Leave to infuse for 7 minutes. Strain for 7 minutes.
